NYERI, KENYA: The High Court in Nyeri has upheld election of Ms Mary Wambui as MP for Othaya Constituency in Nyeri County.
High Court Judge, Justice Jairus Ngaah said Wambui, of The National Alliance (TNA) party was elected in a free and fair exercise.
Poll loser and the Grand National Union (GNU) candidate, Mr Peter King'ara challenged Wambui's election, citing some election irregularities, which the court dismissed.
