American superstar Chris Brown smashed a fan’s phone after she tried taking a selfie with him, the Daily Nation website reports.
The singer, who landed in Mombasa today, tossed the iphone 6 worth about Sh90,000.
Speaking to Daily Nation, the fan said "I have a ticket for the show but I won’t attend it. Brown should know that we like his songs but he has to respect his fans.”
This is not the first time a visiting star has been caught in airport drama. In July, Congolese singer Koffi Olomide was deported after he was caught on tape kicking one of his female dancers.
The Grass Ain’t Greener singer is set to perform tonight in Mombasa alongside Nigerian sensation Wizkid.
