Our African culture and the strong Christian beliefs do not allow homosexuality. It is the highest end of immorality especially in a country where 80 percent of the population is Christians.

Having had time to watch the gay video; same love by Art Attack, of course after going through the outcry on twitter, I could not help but wonder where the rain started beating us. In as much as there is freedom of expression, I don’t think it is right for the gay people to show to the whole country what they really are. They should keep their sexual orientation to themselves. I don’t think shooting a video is the best way to advocate for their gay rights, which I still believe should not be accepted in Kenya and because of our culture and morality.

Most of these people exist as a result of globalization where they get exposed to the western cultures. Through the watching of movies and songs from the west, our youths get swayed away by the culture and they end up practicing what they see.

I don’t really understand why someone decided to shoot a gay video and show it to the world, and the shooting is done in Kenya by Kenyan citizens. These are children who are most likely raised up in a Christian background before they decide to indulge in same sex relationships. I am very sure no one is born with gay hormones, neither is it a genetically transmitted trait.

That someone funded the shooting of the gay video, and someone really took time and shoot the video is really disgusting to the Kenyan society. This is the Sodom and Gomorrah we have in this era. Even Satan, the devil himself was not gay; he chose to approach naked eve rather than Adam. I wonder which devil decided that men ought to love their fellow men and women get attracted to their fellow ladies. What is more attracting in the person of the same gender, someone who is similar to you in appearance and creation?

The Kenyan gay video is not correct, and it is not the right way to go. The Kenya film classification board should deal with everyone who was involved in the production of the music video and should ban it from being played in the country. Furthermore, Google should do us justice by pulling down the video from You Tube, and save the Kenyan society from this immoral generation.
