A retired politician shocked home owners who had taken mortgage on some of his properties when he decided to cancel the deal and refund the money.
Although, some have taken back the money, most of them have rejected it and are now gearing up to take him to court.
The property, which stands on equally controversial land at a high-end neighbourhood in Nairobi, is said to be worth billions and probably the politician’s only stable source of income.
