Mr Kenya modelling competition is back.
The pageant that saw the likes of choreographer Odada Okelo and actor Lwanda Jawar represent Kenya in international competitions will now be held alongside the Miss World Kenya pageant.
“We have brought back the male competition due to public demand from across the country and also to ensure the boys have role models and a voice in this dynamic society,” Wilson Malaba, a former model and one of the organisers told Heads Up.
The launch of this year’s event was held on July 13 at Pride Inn, Westlands.
The event was graced by guests like Taita Taveta Women Representative Joyce Lay and Jakoyo Midiwo’s wife, Betty.
The scouting and training academy teams will visit all the counties in Kenya, profiling ladies and gentlemen aged between 18 and 24. The finals will he held in December in Malindi.
