Both are at the top of Kenyan gospel music, but Bahati set himself apart as the finest when he went ahead to win “Best Male Artiste 2015” at this year’s Groove Awards. However, while fans have thought that the two stars have ‘beef’ going on between them, Willy Paul set the record straight and challenged Bahati Kevin, to speak out about the “controversy” surrounding them.
It all started when Bahati put out a heartfelt letter on social media claiming that Willy Paul had stolen some of his music after colluding with Producer Teddy B. Consequently, the accusations sparked an outrage on social media, with Willy Paul getting a share of rebuke from Kenyans for his alleged actions.
The two could, however, bury the hatchet and move on with their lives. But it seems Kenyans never moved on. As usual, they harbor the hatred they developed towards Paul and whenever something pops up regarding him, they always pop in to abuse him.
Soon after KTN put a post in regards to Willy Paul, he took to his social media to express how he felt that people needed to know the real story. After ranting about the KTN post, he addressed Bahati saying,
... and to Bahati... my brother let people know the truth... that we are brothers doing the same ministry and not in any competition... I love and respect you bro…
He also praised him for his hard work saying, “Congrats for your hard work.”
