On March 9th Arsenal knocked Manchester United out of the FA Cup with a 2-1 win. Thanks to goals from Nacho Monreal and former Manchester United player, Danny Welbeck in 26th and 62nd minutes respectively.
Captain Wayne Rooney scored the lone goal for the red devils in the 29th minute which wasn’t enough to take them to Wembley.
Things got worse for the devils when their star midefielder, Angel Di Maria, was shown a red card in the 77th minute.
The internet was abuzz with humorous memes created to mock the great club of Manchester. Ardent Arsenal fans were happy with the win they got at Old Trafford which they had to wait for 1408 days to secure. The gunners hadn’t won against Manchester United at the Theatre of dreams since 2006.

Well, that is soccer; there has to be a winner; and Arsenal were the FA Cup quarter final’s winners. We can only wait to see more drama as the two teams are yet to meet again in English Premier League for second phase of the 2014-2015 season.
