Tanzanian songstress Nandy is officially off the market. The award-winning singer said ‘I do’ to her longtime boyfriend Billnass in an exquisite invites-only traditional wedding held in Zanzibar.
Documenting their special day on social media, the Nimekuzoea crooner shared numerous pictures of her and her man in matching outfits, showing off her massive ring with the caption, “MRS. WILLIAM NICHOLAUS LYIMO”.
The singer went on to thank everyone who came through to support them on their big day, further apologizing to those who were not invited due to limited space.
“Tunapenda kutoa shukrani za dhati kwa wale wote walio kuwa na sisi siku yetu ya mahari jana. Neno asante ndilo tunaweza kusema! Media zote zilizo support ndani na nje ya nchi hatuna cha kulipa kwa support yenu…. Pia tuna Omba radhi kwa wale ambao walitamani kuwa nasi pamoja Jana na haikuwezekana kwa Sababu zilizo nje ya uwezo wetu na wao nyinyi nyote mna umuhimu kwetu siku special na kubwa inafika tuta jumuika wote. Mungu ni mwema sana na imefanyika kuwa kweli!” she wrote.

It is safe to say Billnass and Nandy have come a long way together. The celebrity couple have been in an on and off relationship since their University days.
“We were in the same school. She joined a music competition and I messaged her on her social media inbox but she never responded until much later and we started talking after. I added her on all my social media platforms thereafter.
“We actually started talking about what we felt for each other way later when we met at a tour and by then I was in a relationship and one of the things I remember we talked about was how comfortable I was posting my then-girlfriend all over social media,” said Billnass in previous interview.
Unfortunately their romance didn’t last long and the duo parted ways not long after to pursue their individual career goals.
“Nandy and I broke up in 2017, actually a few months earlier, it’s just that we never made it official until the end of 2017. There were so many reasons why we couldn’t continue dating, one being that I was still in school and was trying to you know…. finish and all that.
“At the same time she had just entered a music competition that really needed her attention, so yeah just that and many other things I can’t really say in detail,” he said.
Nandy went on to date Ruge Mutahaba who unfortunately passed away on February 26, 2019 after a short ailment.
The couple rekindled their love later, with Billnass proposing to the songstress, to which she said ‘YES’.
“Kwanza happy belated birthday mchumba wangu mpenzi!! @billnass Kama nilivyo ikubali hii pete basi nimekubali mazuri na mabaya yako kutoka moyoni hakika wewe ni mwanaume wa maisha yangu you know I love you PY so,” wrote Nandy.
Nandy however shocked many after dissolving their engagement and calling off their relationship in 2021.
“Mlitegemea Kuniona mimi na Nenga (Billnass) Tukiendelea, mambo yamebadilika na simuoni tena ila Namuombea” Nandy wrote.
