President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent a message of condolence and encouragement to relatives and friends of Kakamega drama teacher and thespian Frandell Njite Esipisu.
Njite, 43, was the brother of Kenya’s High Commissioner to the UK Manoah Esipisu.
He died after a short illness.
In his message, President Kenyatta said he was deeply saddened by the untimely death of the influential drama teacher who had great passion in nurturing talents of students in the performing arts.
“It is very sad that we have lost one of our outstanding drama teachers at such a young age,” said Uhuru.

Njite is survived by his wife Anne Khaoya and two children Shantel and Michelle.
