Muhoho Kenyatta with William Ruto in Nandi County
  • Muhoho Kenyatta was attacked by a section of Kenyans on social media
  • His vote of thanks in Swahili during a tour of Nandi County left many quite shocked

President Uhuru’s son Muhoho Kenyatta surprised many Kenyans due to his inability to speak Kiswahili.

While accompanying DP William Ruto during his campaign trail in Nandi County, Muhoho shocked area residents after he was unable to give a vote of thanks in Kiswahili, leaving some of them in stitches.

Muhoho had to use a cell phone to read the speech and despite having the script, he seemed uncomfortable speaking in Swahili, yet it’s Kenya’s National language.

Muhoho’s inability to speak Swahili was not received well as a section of Kenyans launched a scathing attack on the president’s eldest son.

That's your President's son struggling to read Kiswahili off his smartphone, as children of peasants cheer him on. To be poor is a crime. pic.twitter.com/RzsK24seLH — Gabriel Oguda (@gabrieloguda) September 24, 2017
