- Wema Sepetu had given up a career abroad to date Diamond
- Hawa is the lady that featured alongside Diamond in his song Nitarejea
- Zari, a Ugandan socialite delivered Prince Nilan, Diamond’s son
- Hamisa Mobetto starred as the Queen alongside Diamond in the hit song Salome
With the classic “blame the devil” line, Tanzanian star Diamond Platnumz finally admitted that he was Hamisa Mobetto’s baby daddy and blamed Satan for leading him to cheat on Zari.
“Baada ya kuachana wakati, mimi nikaendelea na maisha yangu na mpaka naanzisha mahusiano yangu na Zari. Shetani akanipitia na Tukaanza tena kuwa na mawasiliano ya kimahaba mpaka pale Hamisa Mobetto alipopata ujauzito (After we split, I went on with my life and started a romantic relationship with Hamisa Mobetto when she got pregnant)". Diamond said while affirming that he was taking responsibility for Hamisa’s son, Prince Abdul.
Soon after, Hamisa changed credentials on Prince Abdul’s son to read “Hamisa Mobetto and Diamond Platnumz son” while Diamond shared the first videos of the baby on his Instagram page. Clearly it was about time the world knew what was happening in Diamond’s life.
Unfortunately Zari was not ready for all this drama and when Diamond alleged that he had briefed her about the affair, she would hear none of it.
“Haha u playing yourself…the lies you telling about me knowing about your sidechic…try and fix your mess and stop with the lies. Me being quiet doesn’t mean I am stupid. Be very careful with your words” Zari countered him.

With the fire still raging in Diamond’s household, fans and critics had a lot to say in regards to the plot twist. While others commended Zari for keeping calm throughout the drama, others were cheering on Hamisa for demanding her rightful place as the baby mama. But were there other ladies that should be coming out to speak on their relationships with Diamond?
Hawa
Next time you see a lady in Diamond Platnumz video, she may just be close enough to become his baby mama.
Hawa is the lady that featured alongside Diamond in his song Nitarejea. Well, in the song Diamond talks about how he was going to hustle in the city so he could come back with more money for the family and while that may have reflected their real situation back in the day, the star left Hawa pregnant and hardly showed up in her life again.
Like most deadbeat dads, Diamond walked out of Hawa’s life and asked her to keep details of their daughter on the low, leaving the songstress to fend for their baby on her own.
Wema Sepetu
“Diamondi na Wema zilipendwa” is the one phrase that had people talking days after the song was released. It was the last nail on the coffin, the parting shot in regards to their once-celebrated relationship, a sign that the once highly celebrated relationship in Tanzania was a thing of the past and the star had long moved on with Zari.
She had given up a career abroad and gone behind her mother’s back to date Diamond.
Even when all her family members had advised her to choose better she had ignored them in the hopes of a fairy-tale love with Diamond but that was cut short, with Zari taking over the spotlight as Diamond’s new queen.
Zari
Unlike his previous girlfriends, Zari did not come to play. The moment she hosted the all-white party in Uganda alongside Diamond, she knew too well what was in it for her.
Besides having been married to Ivan Ssemawanga, the Uganda socialite was ready to move on to the next great catch and so she got pregnant for Diamond within the first year.
Word on the street was that she had finally given Diamond what Wema could not, a baby. Two years later and Zari delivered Prince Nilan, Diamond’s son.
While many commended her for keeping her family together, Diamond was also always praising her on his social media as the ultimate queen.
Then Hamisa showed up.
Hamisa Mobetto
Besides having starred as the Queen alongside Diamond in the hit song Salome, Hamisa has had a thriving modelling career. According to Diamond, their relationship started way before he became big.
Apparently, the two had flings back in the day and their occasional meet-ups.
Hamisa knew that if she wanted to be recognised as Diamond’s baby mama, she had to assertively seek his attention and bring the issue to public.
It was here that she started sending subliminal messages about Diamond being her baby daddy and even when he star denied association with her, she went ahead to name her son after him “Abdulalatif Naseeb Abdul Juma”.
Fast forward and Diamond publicly acknowledges that he was Prince Abdul’s dad and was doing all he could to take care of the baby.
“Kabla hajajifungua mimi nilimnunulia Rav4 mpya kabisa sikupenda ateseke na mtoto. (Before she delivered the baby, I bought her a new Rav4 so that she wouldn't suffer with the child).” Diamond said.
