Kenyans gave Safari Sevens and Africa Cup Sevens a wide berth.

However, participating countries not only sent their players to take part in the games, but also sent their scribes as well.

OffSide can reveal that almost every country sent at least a reporter or a cameraman to cover their national teams or clubs.

The overseas countries also exhibited far better organization compared to their African colleagues and Kenya’s KRU who took the trophy for being the most disorganized outfits.

Imagine travelling all the way to Nairobi without a plan of where you would stay, eat, or how to access internet.

That was the case for a few female journalists. A fellow journalist attached to a leading media house came to their rescue.
