Peruvian actor and activist Richard Torres took tree hugging to the extreme by wedding a tree for the second time.
Torres and his spouse tied the knot at a ceremony in Bogotá's National Park on Sunday.
The ceremony was an attempt to raise awareness of environmental issues.
Torres said he hoped people would take a leaf out of his book and pay more attention to the man-made environmental problems around the world.
He asked that rebels from Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia change from making war to planting trees, NBC reports.
