Nyeri, Kenya: Four suspects among them two women were Thursday arraigned before a Nyeri court and charged with robbery with violence.
Alice Njoki, Patricia Wanjiku Gichomo, Richard Okoth Otieno and Paul Muchai Ng'ang'a pleaded not guilty to the charge before Principal Magistrate Susan Ngugi
The suspects were charged that on January 3 this year, they robbed Antony Mwai Nyawira of a Toyota NZE motor vehicle valued Sh640,000 in Nyeri town.
The charge further stated that they robbed the complainant of Sh300.
Ms Ngugi directed that they be remanded at King'ong'o G.K Maximum Prison till their case will be mentioned and heard on January 22 and February 17 respectively.
