Multiple award-winning gospel ace Daddy Owen, will be leading a number of artistes among them Emmy Kosgei, Jaguar, Rufftone, Madtraxx, Sauti Sol and Abass in headlining the much-anticipated inauguration ceremony to be held on Tuesday. The deal is yet another major windfall for the artistes as big cash is at stake for all the performers.
“I am happy that the committee organising this historical event has considered me. I will be performing two songs during the function,” Daddy Owen told Pulse on Wednesday.
Most of the artistes performing during the ceremony were involved in the Dunda na Uhuru town-to-town nationwide tours having already endorsed president-elect Uhuru Kenyatta’s candidature.
