Menengai Oilers will be seeking to revenge when they meet Mwamba in the quarterfinals of the Driftwood Sevens from 11.20am Kenyan time on Sunday in Mombasa.

Mwamba defeated Oilers 10-5 to win the Fifth-place playoffs at the Dala Sevens last weekend.

Mwamba saw off Kenya Harlequin 17-14, Kabarak University 17-12 and Daystar University 19-12 to finish top of Group D.

Oilers on the other hand defeated Catholic Monks and MMUST 17-12 and 31-5 respectively to book last eight despite losing their last match against Strathmore Leos 21-7.

In other matches Dala Sevens champions KCB will play Kisumu RFC as Kabras Sugar face Nondies.

KCB recorded a perfect outing in the day's fixtures beating Nondescripts 22-0 in the opening match of the second leg of the National Sevens Circuit before hammering Kenyatta University's Blak Blad 45-5 in their second fixture.

The bankers would then seal a spot in the quarters after registering a 17-5 victory over Nakuru RFC popularly known as Wanyore in the afternoon clash.

Strathmore Leos will play Kenya Harlequin in the last quarterfinal pairing.
