Former world champion Graciano 'Rocky' Rocchigiani has passed away aged 54 after a fatal car accident.
The German boxer, who shared the ring with Chris Eubank and held world titles at super-middleweight and light heavyweight, is reported by Bild as passing away in Italy.
'Rocky' was said to be a passenger in the car. He leaves behind a girlfriend and two children.
His Italian girlfriend meant he travelled regularly between Berlin and Italy.
An IBF world title holder at super-middleweight from 1988-89, Rocchigiani went on to solidify an outstanding career by moving up in weight and claiming honours.

He would capture the WBC light-heavyweight title in 1998 and fought some world class opponents.
As well as losing to Eubank Jr for the WBO super-middleweight title in 1994, he took on Dariusz Michalczewski in 2000 for the WBO and lineal light heavyweight titles.
He ended his career with 41 victories, six losses and a draw.
