Wayne Rooney has revealed he'd like to become a coach when his playing career eventually comes to an end.
At the age of 29, Rooney is approaching his final years on the pitch, but he has no intention of living a life away from football.
The Manchester United and England captain admitted to preparing for life on the training pitch, saying he was paying special attention to the tactical nuances of the teams he plays against
Speaking to ESPN, he said: "I think as a player, and hopefully one day going into coaching, then you're always trying to pick up things, what teams are doing and, especially as you get a little bit older, you are trying to see how different teams are playing the game and how you feel you could counteract that.
