Mzee Majuto and other actors throng Mombasa

Popular Tanzanian comedian Mzee Majuto was recently in Mombasa to shoot a movie with actors and producers from the port city. The upcoming movie, Sio Riziki, will see Mzee Majuto, Dude Kulwa Kikumba, Tino Muya join local girl Sabby Angel, Leo Dominic, Lavina Wanjiku and others in the project which seeks to open up the region.

“It’s one of the projects that will be done this year to open both markets (Tanzania and Kenya) to cross-border movies,” said Coast Film’s Hassan Faisal.

“Tanzania has already warmed up to the projects by hyping the upcoming movie. It was an honour to host them here for over a week,” he noted.
