Police officer found murdered in Eldoret

A female police officer has been found murdered at her rented house in Miti Moja Estate on the outskirts of Eldoret town.

The officer attached to Naiberi Police Station, Ainabkoi Sub County, is suspected to have been killed by her estranged lover though police say ongoing investigations will unravel the killers and motive of the murder.

She had several stab wounds on the head and on her body. Uasin Gishu police commander Johnston Ipara said an investigation had commenced and they are following crucial leads to nab the killers.
