President Uhuru Kenyatta has appointed poll losers from the Opposition into various State agencies.
Former Funyula MP Paul Otuoma has been appointed chairman of the Privatisation Commission for three years.
Dr Otuoma lost the Busia governor race to ODM candidate Sospeter Ojaamong in last year's elections.
Former Nyatike MP Edick Anyanga was appointed to the Agricultural Finance Corporation, where he will now sit with Stephen Mutai, Rosemary Muniu, Richard Kropp, Gladys Muringo and David Koros. Mr Anyanga lost to ODM candidate Tom Odege.
Edwin Yinda, who also served as an MP of Alego Usonga between 2007 and 2013, will now chair the Kenya Postal Corporation board for three years.
The President made the appointments in a special gzette notice that saw various other persons hired to serve in parastatals in different capacities.
Uhuru picked Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore and Kenya Commercial Bank boss Joshua Oigara to sit in the Kenya Vision 2030 Delivery Board for three years.
The two will work alongside Juliana Rotich, Rita Kavashe and Muchai Kunyiha.
Consumers Federation of Kenya Secretary General Stephen Mutoro has been reappointed member of Anti-Counterfeit Agency board for another three years.
Analysts saw both politics and Uhuru legacy in the appointments.
