Passengers of Swiss International Air, Switzerland’s national carrier, are in for a treat as its new A330-300 commences flights from its Zurich hub to Nairobi and Dar es Salaam next month.
The new long-haul Airbus A330-300 introduced to the route on Tuesday sets new standards for in-flight comfort in all three seating classes and introduces the new SWISS Business and SWISS First.
More spacious
More legroom in Economy Class, an air-cushioned seat that can be turned into a two-meter lie-flat bed in Business Class and a "suite above the clouds" in First Class highlight features of the new cabin product.

The new long-hauler also features a state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment system with individual 23" screen that offers video and audio on demand with a vast range of the latest movies in all three classes and more than 300 music CDs.
Marcel Biedermann, Head of Intercontinental Markets, said the launch of the Airbus in East Africa introduces a new benchmark for individual and business travel in an exclusive in-flight environment.
SWISS currently operates five weekly flights between Dar es Salaam - Nairobi to Zurich and would operate an additional sixth frequency to Mombasa via Nairobi with the new A330-300 as from July this year.
Country Manager Kenya, Yves-Alain Yersin, said the region was the fourth market to receive the all-new A330-300.
"Our passengers are assured of unique Swiss hospitality and comfort with the new features of the A330-300," he said.
"It offers top of the range product in First, Business and Economy class."
