Manchester United want to sign Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic

• Jose Mourinho is looking to add  Nemanja Matic to his midfield
• Juventus are also willing to rival United in the pursuit of the 28-year-old Serbian

Manchester United have been given a clear run at Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic.

Jose Mourinho is desperate to add a defensive midfielder to his squad and has failed in an attempt to sign Eric Dier.

And United expected to face competition from Juventus in the race for their other target, Matic.

The Independent reports, however, that the Italian giants have turned their attention to Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi, leaving United as Matic’s only suitors.
