Nairobi, Kenya: The Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) has urged to teachers to resume work Monday as strike has officially been called off.
Knut Secretary General Wilson Sossion, while making the announced Friday, also told parents who have not yet paid school fees for their children to do so.
The announcement was made after a meeting of the union’s national advisory council in Nairobi.
Wednesday, the Industrial Court told Kuppet and Knut to call off the strike which has paralysed learning in the country's public schools.
The Court asked the unions to file their cases by Monday January 19 and asked the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) to respond to the dispute by January 26.
