Socialite Amber Ray is facing major embarrassment after being called out for allegedly faking her lavish lifestyle.

Days after parading herself as "Bibi ya Tajiri" (wife of a rich man), her past has come back to haunt her, thanks to her Sierra Leonean ex-boyfriend, Ibrahim Kabba.

After Kenyans online suggested she should drop the Bibi ya Tajiri tag, Amber hit back by flaunting pictures from her alleged luxurious vacations.

In a damning Instagram post, Amber's ex exposed her for lying, claiming that it was he, not Rapudo, who took her for the lavish Tanzanian tour.

Even more embarrassing, he accused her of falsely claiming she travelled with a photographer and videographer.

"That is crazy. Why do you have to lie to the public in that picture in Tanzania? I was the one that took it for you. Why do you have to lie that you travelled with your photographer? You don't have to lie, be real with people. That is all I have to say, no hard feelings," he wrote.

This revelation left netizens shocked and confused, and they questioned Amber Ray's credibility, especially since just days earlier, she had been bragging about her expensive hotel stays.

Despite the allegations, Amber Ray remained defiant, insisting that she is married to a wealthy man and dismissing critics who question her lifestyle.

"Kuna watu wanakasirika sana wakiskia mimi nikijiita bibi ya tajiri, and they even try so hard to prove to me that mimi si bibi ya tajiri," she ranted on Instagram, accusing her haters of creating fake accounts just to insult her.

Meanwhile, her husband Kennedy Rapudo came to her defense, downplaying the controversy.

"Si unajua people will always talk... We cannot all be rich, but also we can all be rich," he said.

As the scandal gained momentum, netizens started comparing Amber Ray to Bahati's wife, Diana Marua, who recently received a Sh. 45 million Mercedes Benz Brabus G-Wagon as an anniversary gift.
