- The absence of a NASA Governor at Raila Odinga’s rally in Western has raised eyebrows
- This is after he skipped a rally in his county organized by Odinga
- He was reportedly in Uganda
The decision by a Governor from western Kenya to skip an opposition rally in his county has left his party leader and other honchos of the political outfit he belongs to reeling in anger.
The county boss who is doing his second term over the weekend gave the much-hyped rally a wide-berth, with his handlers explaining that he was away on official duty in Uganda.
The explanation seems to have not convinced his party boss and other officials.
They were heard deliberating at an exclusive members club on what they can do to the Governor who seems no longer keen on party matters.
His commitment to remain In the opposition was questioned with one of the party officials asking why the Governor was quick to attend a rally by Jubilee attended by President Uhuru Kenyatta recently in a nearby county.
