Nairobi, the entertainment hub of Africa, came alive over the weekend with a mega concert dubbed the United Sounds of Africa (USA) as over 20 artistes from all over Africa entertained thousands of party lovers.
The event held at the Carnivore grounds, which had been organised by events guru Ike Anoke, the CEO of Taurus Group Limited, and sponsored by Remy Martin, was one of a kind, a show that lasted over 10 hours.
It was never about the Sh6,000 fee for a VIP seat but an experience brought together by some of Africa greats among them Runtown, Urban Hype, Navy Kenzo, Lady Jaydee, Alicios and Dela.
“This is just one of the mega shows we want to host so as to change the entertainment landscape of Africa. The show was successful and we are grateful to the artistes, fans and sponsors. The future is bright,” Ike told MondayBlues.
Meanwhile, there was a moment of laughter as CMB Prezzo jumped on stage to help Lady Jaydee perform to turn the stage into a 'lovers' affair.
