Ferdinand Waititu

Residents of Kiambu want their newly-elected governor, Ferdinand Waititu (pictured) to go for prayer lessons if he is to lead any prayer sessions.

The residents were left in shock after Waititu, in his prayer, expressed anger towards those who opposed President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election.

In the prayer, Waititu asked God to strike those who oppose Uhuru with ‘fatal diarrhoea.’

The congregation was left in stitches, with others asking that he takes prayer lessons in future.

The prayers left the whole congregation in laughter, sparking reactions from people who felt that the governor needed some lessons.

“God lead us, lead our president until he wins the elections. We cannot also forget to pray for all those who oppose him and want to spoil his victory. They want to steal his presidency.

When they go to bed, they should not wake up in the morning,” prayed Waititu, adding that:

“We pray that those people from now on should have fatal diarrhoea until the election period ends. We pray and believe...”

The governor is confident that the people of Kiambu will turn out in large numbers and help the president to retain his seat.
