Kenya Harlequin's superb second half show saw them come from behind to beat Impala 29-24 in a pulsating Kenya Cup play-off staged at the RFUEA grounds yesterday.
With the triumph, Quins will now face defending champions KCB in the semi-final next weekend.
Quins were the brighter side in the early exchanges and their dominance in possession paid off as they forced Impala into a costly infringement which saw winger Quinto Ongo sent to the sin-bin while Quins were awarded a penalty try.
Impala did not take much time in finding a response as Kenya Simbas loose forward Elkeans Musonye went over for a five-pointer before utility back Samuel Oliech leveled matters from his boot.
Meanwhile, a last minute penalty by fly half Tony Omondi was all Mwamba needed to beat hosts Nakuru 18-17 and sail through to the semi-finals at Nakuru Athletic Club yesterday.
