Nairobi, Kenya: NASA principal Moses Wetangula’s bodyguards have been withdrawn. Earlier on, Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka bodyguards were also recalled back to the GSU headquarters.
Kalonzo Musyoka has termed the move illegal as presidential candidates are entitled to have bodyguards.
This comes after Opposition has vowed to peacefully march to the electoral agency's offices on to force its top officials to resign for allegedly bungling the August 8 vote.
The National Super Alliance (NASA) has also accused the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) of failing to adequately address the concerns it had raised as 'irreducible minimum', protesting that the commission was proceeding with business as usual without any accountability.
