A governor in Western Kenya is in big trouble.
So terrorised is the man by an aspirant he drove out of the party that he is now appealing for help.
He has told his party bosses that if they do not intervene so that the voters can disregard his opponent, he has no chance of retaining the seat.
In desperation, the governor has resorted to personal attacks against his arrival who is alleging does not fit the leadership bill because he comes from a very poor family.
It will be interesting to see whether the party leader will come to the governor's aid and what the electorate will say.
