Jubilee party could be facing a major tremor following the recent move by President Uhuru Kenyatta’s closer friend to support NASA in the campaigns for the August 8 elections.
Both Jubilee and NASA have in the recent days been jostling for a majority support from Narok and Kajiado counties predominantly occupied by the Maa community.
Tarayia ole Kores is the latest NASA entrant after he abandoned Jubilee at time of need in the region joining Raila’s side that is keen to get votes from Narok and Kajiado County.
Kores served as the chairman of the Kenya Meat Commission until his move reportedly led to his being fired by President Uhuru who appointed Senteu Ntoross as the new KMC chairman two days ago.
Mr Kores had gone against the expected by not supporting the Jubilee party’s candidate for the kajiado governor’s seat Joseph Ole Lenku and has been in NASA rallies drumming up support for the reelection of David Nkedianye.
