There is this particular story that I fell in love with, it was about a certain lazy boy who was allergic to work but had uncontrollable appetite for food. The lazy young man was known as Oyundi and anyone who hated work was baptized Oyundi and was avoided like NYS suspects in my rural village.

Without any intention of defaming the good senator, Moses Wetangula the senate minority leader and Cord co-principle is perfect modern day Oyundi as far as politics is concerned. This is a man who harbors serious presidential ambition yet his own county, leave alone his region has got more Jubilee allied politicians than any other in the whole entire former western province. Moses Wentangula should have delivered all posts in Bungoma to his coalition in 2013 general elections the same way Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho did in his county.

Four years down the line, man Wetangula is still waiting for manner from heaven in the name of political endorsement while his colleagues are combing each part of the country looking for votes. The senator has applied both diplomacy (begging) and dictatorial (threats and intimidations) to persuade the former PM  Raila Odinga to pass over the battalion to him forgetting that politics is a game of numbers, he should ask his brother Kalonzo Musyoka since he(Kalonzo) knows this from experience.

My good minority leader is moving from one funeral to another shouting out loud how he is best suited to send Jubilee home yet the same Jubilee is giving him sleepless nights in his own stronghold of  Bungoma county,

The 2017 general election is going to be one of the most competitive and vigorous elections the country has ever witnessed, lazy politicians will be sent home even before voting day. My advice to Wetangula, which I am sure he will ignore, is to pull up his socks before the season of political cold arrives.
