The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has released the Malindi by-election roadmap even as ODM promised to announce the winner in its weekend party primaries Tuesday.
The ODM Election Board chairperson Judith Pareno said the Opposition coalition partner will unveil its flag bearer for the poll after a hot contest on Saturday in which scores of aspirants participated.
During a press conference at Orange House, Ms Pareno said the party’s flag bearer will be announced in readiness for the presentation of nomination papers by February 13 when the 21-day campaign properly begins.
And speaking from Malindi town on phone Monday, IEBC north coast regional co-ordinator Amina Soud said the party nomination period ends on January 22.
