The football hooliganism being experienced in the Kenyan Premier League has become unbearable.

It’s scary when families returning home from weekend outings meet rowdy fans who mishandle them.

We have heard of cars being torched by Gor fans. It’s unfortunate that people are forced to close their businesses just to pave way for hooligans.

The football authorities needs to come up with measures that will ensure that rowdy football fans are personally held responsible for the damages they cause.

The Nairobi county government should also ensure football fans do not pour into the CBD for celebrations as this can be an avenue for robbery. In other countries, football authorities know rowdy football fans, and even some have been suspended for life from attending matches.
