Chuka Kenya: Speaking in Chuka, Governor for the county Samuel Ragwa said the county government will embark on a drive to conduct physical planning of the town.
Mr Ragwa said the town had structures that were constructed without organization making the town unattractive. He added that as a major town for the Chuka County there was need for it to acquire the look of a city in order to attract investors.
The governor said it was a shame that Chuka is a hundred years old but still lags behind in development.
"We are going to hold a meeting with the stakeholders of the town to come up with strategies to reorganize the town and make it a centre of business and industries," He said.
Ragwa said for investors to be attracted to the county the major town must be attractive too.
