Nairobi, Kenya: Samburu East MP Raphael Letimalo is admitted in hospital after he was shot and injured Friday night in a robbery in Ongata Rongai, Nairobi.
Letimalo was injured in the leg and is in a stable condition in hospital. Police say he was robbed of Sh30,000, two mobile phones and other valuables by the attackers.

Letimalo was not with his bodyguard at the time of the attack and he had just alighted to open the gate when he was ambushed.

"That was an isolated case and we are looking for the gunmen. He is stable in hospital," said Kibue.
Those who visited him in hospital said he had an injury on the knee.
