Taita-Taveta , Kenya: One person died on the spot and three others were seriously injured when a motorcycle they were riding on was involved in a road accident along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.
A mini bus with Uganda registration number hit the motorbike.
Police said both the motorcycle and the bus were headed for Mombasa when the accident occured at Taita village on Wednesday evening.
The area is regarded as one of the major black spots in the country.

County Police Commander Richard Bitonga said the motorcycle which was carrying three passengers was hit by the bus killing a woman passenger.
He added that the injured are being treated at Voi district hospital with multiple injuries.
"The Ugandan driver has recorded statement with the police in Voi and we are still investigating the cause of the accident," said Mr Bitonga.
