It has been a nice 15 days for me, three years and three months old Baby Drago.

From when we came back to our new house in Nairobi after the ‘Lock Town.’

Because shosh was ‘no jokes,’ me I learn to pooh-pooh and su-su when in ushago for so long.

‘No more diapers for baby!’ my mummy say, and she is so happy because diaper is expensive.

After I finish breakfast, my Daddy he always read for me from a Big Book for baby poetry – with pictures of goats, cats, trolls, wizard and a scary Triangolothope (that looks like Baragacha).

But another morning when my Daddy he find me with a doorknob stuck in my mouth, he is very annoyed and take me to his home office to his ‘tap top’ and we go to Who-Toob.

Over there he show me a video of a small boy who he cannot move, and people are crying!

Then they put the little boy in a sanduku, then many cars take him to some soils and they cover him with it.

‘Papa,’ I say. ‘That boy he is being put for mchanga the way Milan she cover me with mchanga?’

My father he laugh like he don’t want to. ‘Drago, your big sister buried you in sand in December in Mombasa. This little boy has been buried after swallowing a doorknob, and has gone to heaven ...’

‘I want to go to Heaven School,’ I say, and I start to cry.

I miss my friends in Heaven School, until now I even miss their faces when I try to remember them. ‘Nineteen’ has closed schools till January, Milan tell me happily. Milan she is Grade Four.

Now Mommy got her a table-let to do ‘virtue lesos,’ even though she always like Who-Toob.

She has already made a new enemy in the a-part-part, Mia, her age ten, and they no talking!

Milan has also made a new friend, Olivia, 8, who follows her everywhere like ntagu’s puppy.

Olivia daddy he is a daktari. Olivia mummy she is working from home because of new baby, Eva.

But best of it is that Olivia and new baby Eva they have a 4-year-old sister called Ava. I like Ava.

In the morning, after Papa poems, I can watch cartoon until noon when nanny Alicia says: ‘Time for lunch.’

Then I ‘see Esther’ (sleep) until two, when Ava come over with her big sister, Olivia.

Olivia and Milan they play game on Milan new table-let, me and Ava we watch cartoon in house. We ride our bicycles on the long corridors. At four we share tea and ‘ngumu’ busy-kits.

When Ava she go home at six (with Olivia, to go see her mommy and new baby, Eva), my mommy she come home to ‘sub.’

Except on Tuesdays and Thursdays when Mommy come home at eight because she has going to ‘the Jim to get feet’. I don’t understand that.
