There is that one guy that Nairobi women intently visit every month or twice. He has bad handwriting, dirty hands and has a funny shrub whenever he opens his mouth. It could be the cheeky gynaecologist and can confidently say statements like 'I am going to see your wife now' and expect men to sit outside and patiently wait as their wives gets undressed for him. It could also be that man who drives her around for a fee. We sought from both men and women who is that male proffesion who is likely to cause friction in a relationship. Below are the most notorious....

What was the most embarrassing moment of your life?

1. Gynecologist

The idea of a male gynecologist at first is scary. Then she remembers that men are gentler and keen a man would be while treating the honey pot.

Monica Mwandime, a thirty two year old legal secretary reminisces on her first experience with her gynae of ten years.

"I was only 22 when I got a rash. I later realised that it was a sexually transmitted disease and I was very scared as I didn't want to be judged. Finding out that I had an STD was already embarrassing enough," Monica shared.

Monica was introduced to her gynecologist by her close friend and she says he has been the best thing that happened to her since then.

"Not only has he always been extremely professional, kind but not uncomfortably friendly and never ever anything but absolutely clinical during my women's exams. I think I would actually prefer him to a female physician; I have a warped idea about women being very judgemental of my body," she said.

2. Gym/ swimming instructor

Scientifically exercise facilitates the release of endorphins, the feel good chemicals that make one to feel happy and relaxed. No man who has come across this information wants to imagine that his woman is in the gym experiencing such emotions next to a shirtless muscular man.

Erastus Karanja, a manager in a five star restaurant started accompanying his wife to the gymn when he noticed that she was exceptionally excited whenever she came back home.

"I think I drove her into temptation when I first let her go alone. That said, I'm still yet to understand why women would swoon over a man who is handling all of them. Is this the only time they don't mind sharing?" Erastus wondered.

3. Boss/colleague

The last thing a man wants to hear is a mention of another man's name when you get home late.

"There is nothing as annoying when women say 'Oh my god! Omondi did the funniest thing today.' Who is Omondi and why is he making my wife laugh," wonders Jared Mogaka a jobless father of two.

Jared understands that his wife has to work twice hard since he was retrenched but he can't help it when she has to travel out of town with her male colleagues. The photos on Facebook are usually the last nail on the coffin. This is a surefire way to get us to show up at your office, waving a velvet-lined box in Ted's face while screaming at him, "Pick a dueling weapon!"

The last thing a man wants is to spend time alone ordering take away and masturbating.

5. BFF

We can't really blame men who don't subscribe to their wives/girlfriends having male friends.

Women are easily manipulated, mostly by guys with 'sugar coated' tongues. George Muchiri says as a guy he knows that the only time a man can be a best friend is when he is a father or brother.

"I know how many pants I've gotten into just by using sweet words and lots of the girls were dating. However, I allow my girlfriend keep male friends, it's my own way of testing her. If she messes up, it proves she not the right girl or I'm not what she wants. I believe a woman should be able to discipline herself, but if she can't, she goes," says the 28 years old accountant.

Edda Mbaya however feels that men are just over protective.

"What if a man has been your friend since forever and probably you are best friends since childhood? The man in your life will not understand for the simple reason that men are extremely territorial. If they had their way they would probably mark you with their urine to keep all other males away,"Eddah says.

4. Movie star/Musician/ Comedian/News anchor

Getting all "teen girl fervent" over famous people is one of the main reasons that get's a man green with envy. Do you want to know why most guys hate people like Larry Madowo and John Allan Namu? It's all a woman's fault. It's that gushing!

Eliza Mwaura a mother of three says that her husband still gets angry when she laughs when watching local comedy on TV.

"If something is funny, you can't help but laugh. But this drives him nuts because I just smile to his dry sense of humour. I just don't get it because I will never get to meet these comedians and besides they are almost half my age," a bewildered Eliza told us.

5. Hairdresser

Save for the gossip male hairdressers are said to be very passionate about their jobs.

John Nyoso, a dreadlocks specialist at a salon in Kenya cinema says that women fight just to get an hour of his services. He credits this to his keen and tender way of handling their hair.

"Men are much more interested in getting better, learning new hairstyles as they surface, learning new techniques of cutting weave on. Our female counterparts relax easily because they always assume that hair styling is a God given talent. Men hair dressers have come to prove that it is an acquire talent which is not the exclusive preserve of women," John said.

John who believes that male hairdresser will know how to make women attractive to men confesses that his profession has gotten him in trouble with not only his client's lovers but also his own girlfriend

"My girl really hates it when another woman calls in the middle night to book an appointment. She will never understand and so I have decided to switch off my phone whenever we are together.

6. Tailor/Stylist

No man in his right mind wants to see another man touch his woman's hips and nyonyos.

Boniface Nuke once roughed up a male tailor because he could not stand the way he was handling his wife's twins.

"A tailor once came to my house to take measurements for a kitenge that my wife wanted to wear for a weeding. You should have seen the way that man was stretching that tape measure across my wives boobs. It cut right deep into my heart and I don't even remember how I hit him and warned him against touching her ever again. My wife still talks about it three years later," Boniface Njuki shared.

8. Cab driver

A taxi driver is a very good listener which works very with women who after a frustrating day they just want someone to listen to them without judging them.

Phyllis Moraa a business woman says that she has used her taxi driver for over ten years and he has been more than just the man who drives her around for errands.

"My taxi driver is my house agent, my debt collector and food delivery person. He is also a confidant something that does not work well without only love interests but also my friends," Phyllis confessed.

Although she has no romantic relations with the taxi man, she does admit that he would make a very good lover if she was attracted to him because he is a good listener.

9. Mechanic

Women love men who can handle foreign things. It's the way he talks about the carburetor and other strange instruments in her car that she has owned for two year now.

Mary Nanjala was dumped by her boyfriend because she trusted a mechanic over him.

"There was something about my mechanics hands that made me trust him with the car more than I did with my ex who claimed he could easily repair the cars minor issue. Then again his hands were very sexy. Each time I watched the mechanic work on the car I had this strange fantasy on what he would do to me with his hands," Mary told us.

Her attempt to get the mechanic to like her back fired as it turned out that he was happily married. She lost both her mechanic and boyfriend.

10. Masseuse

Women generally believe that men are generally gentle when handling their bodies.

Triza Kawira says she would be very uncomfortable if a woman was rubbing her muscles.

"My boyfriend used to be bothered by that and it was really unattractive and annoying when he would do that. As a man, wouldn't he be uncomfortable and a little tense if another man was rubbing all over him?" wondered the lab technician.

Triza prefers men because she works out a lot and is always in need of deep tissue massages that some women don't have as strong of hands as some men do.
