An aspirant in a recent by-election escaped the wrath of angry women by a whisker.
According to our little birdie in the semi-arid constituency, it is the politician’s mean tendencies that almost got him into an embarrassing face-off.
Apparently, while vying for the same seat in 2013, the politician donated construction materials to a women’s group but later reclaimed the ‘gifts’ after losing. We hear this is not the first time the stingy man has reclaimed gifts he had offered voters.
