About eight billion shillings has been spent of the resettlement of victims displaced during the post election chaos. But the problem is far from solved as many families continue to suffer in camps. Analysts say the IDP resettlement has been turned into a cash cow by connected individuals within and outside government. This is the sad state of the nation.
