Some churches will not allow the Committee of Experts to use church facilities in the oncoming civic education exercise.
The Free Pentecostal Fellowship in Kenya General Secretary Rev John Kitur said the decision was taken because the CoE has ignored the views of the church on the Proposed Constitution.
"The church has observed that the CoE has already taken a stand on the draft constitution, so we have no trust in them," said Kitur.
The cleric added that the Government should uphold democratic principles by allocating funds to both the ‘No’ and ‘Yes’ camps.
He said FPFK would light red candles to symbolise the church’s rejection of the Proposed Constitution.

"That is a sign of empowerment of the church leaders who are here today, to go out and share the message of ‘No’ to our congregations countrywide," said Kitur.
The church demanded that the contentious issues must be addressed now and not in future.
"Our leaders must provide leadership and listen to the voice of the church and other Kenyans and refrain from international influence," he said.
