Popular for dating Tanzanian star Diamond, fast-rising media personality Tanasha Dona has joined the list of limelight girls who have gone into music.

Early this week, the radio girl released a new jam titled Radio, a video that features Barak Jacuzzi.

The video shot by the industrious video director Ivan Odie, opens up with an infectious skit by fellow NRG radio presenters Shaq The Yungin and Sean Prezzy intimating Tanasha’s imminent transition to music.

The subsequent scenes are a choreographed mesh of eye-catching visuals of Nairobi’s buzzing inner city sandwiched between Tanasha’s soothing vocals, oozing confidence, impeccable style and Barak’s East Coast trademark flow to deliver a radio-friendly banger that has bagged over 200,000 views on YouTube within 24 hours of release.

"I’m so excited to share this jam with my East African fans. It’s been a long time coming. I’m very impressed and thankful to the scores of fans that have watched the video so far. Barak Jacuzzi did an incredible job to swing the jam home. Definitely expect more from me soon, am here to stay,” Tanasha said after the release.

Zari, who was dating Diamond before Tanasha stole the thunder also tried her hand on music but just as did Hamisa Mobetto and Wema Sepetu.

Titled Tunaendana, Hamisa’s November 2018 release has already attracted over one million views on YouTube.

Vera released her debut single Nalia late last year too after she part ways with Otile Brown. Pulse can reveal that she is already back to studio recording new songs.
