Celebrated actress Lupita Nyong’o has tested positive for Covid-19.
Sharing the news with her fans on Twitter, the Oscar-winner stated she was fully vaccinated and in isolation.
"I too have tested positive for COVID-19. I'm fully vaccinated and taking care in isolation, so I trust I will be well.
"Please do all you can to keep yourself and others protected from serious illness," wrote Lupita and ended her message with the hashtag #StayMaskedAndVaxxed".

The Black Panther actress, who has two films coming out this year, was forced to cancel a virtual promotional interview for her latest film, The 355, and focus on her recovery.
Before testing positive, Lupita had intended to join her fellow co-stars Jessica Chastain, Penelope Cruz, Diane Kruger, and Bingbing Fan, among others, to promote the spy-action film directed by Simon Kinberg.
The movie comes out in theaters on January 7th.
Nyong'o stars as Khadijah, a former MI6 ally and computer expert and part of a group of international spies who must come together to stop a terrorist organization from starting World War III.
The Award-winning actress is the latest celebrity to share her positive test results amid rising cases of Covid-19 and the recent discovery of the Omicron variant.
