When I first heard about the mathree named Eurobond, I was startled. I mean, that is so creative, right? The mathree, which plies the Embakasi route, is becoming quite popular.

So, why did the crew settle on this name?

“When we bought the matatu, it was in bad shape. We took it back to the garage for redesigning and pimping. It was named Eurobond because many people relate it with the scandal hence our popularity,” Phillip Nyangwara, one of the crew members, told Ma3 Culture.

Some of the outstanding features include a reverse camera, cosy interior and airbrush finishing.
