Sh100,000 bond is how much a man masquerading as a Kenya A Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) officer had to pay to taste freedom.
Duke Orina Makori aka Dickson Orina was arrested in Kisii town after a tip off from the public who raised an alarm following his suspicious activities.
He is said to have forged documents, among them a letter of admission for one Kepha Osoro Omosa on claims that it would lead to his admission into the KDF Recruits Training School in Eldoret.
Kisii county Criminal Investigation Commander, Justus Burudi cited admission letters for KDF recruits for November 12, 2016 at the Eldoret based Recruits Training School (RTS) as some of the items recovered from the suspect.
Others were medical examination and academic certificates for potential recruits together with a rubber stamp for RTS, Eldoret.

Several photographs where the suspect was in full KDF uniform and wielding a sub machine gun were also retrieved from his smart phone.
According to Burudi, detectives were in contact with their counterparts in Eldoret and Ulinzi House to unravel the activities of the impersonator and appealed to those conned to turn up and identify him at Kisii Central Police station.
