A priest-turned-politician who pushed for Ugandan singer Desire Luzinda’s arrest has apologised.
“Is there any relative of Desire Luzinda here? I apologise to her. I was so rough on her and I wanted her apprehended,” politician Simon Lokodo said at a sensitisation workshop on pornography.
Lokodo said what the local artiste went through was ‘total malice’.
“I asked her, why did you do this? But she pleaded innocence, saying she was not the one who leaked her own nudes but rather her estranged lover,”he said
Luzinda’s lover Franklin Emuobor, a Nigerian national, released a series of pictures showing her nude in December last year.
