Three police officers have been injured in an attack at Ameyan Centre in Tiaty along the Baringo-Kapedo border.
The three were aboard a police vehicle and were on their way to Kapedo when they were ambushed by suspected bandits at a bridge connecting Kapedo and Ameyan, area Chief Josephat Lopalal has confirmed.
Exchange of fire going on now. The three are nursing injuries at Kapedo hospital. The officers were among a group of officers who had left Marigat Centre for Kapedo earlier today.
