Independent Presidential candidate Joseph Nyagah talked to Standard Group media on October 26 after casting his vote.
Mr. Nyagah expressed his disappointment in President Uhuru
Kenyatta and Opposition leader Raila Odinga for failing to hold a dialogue to
find the way forward.
Mr. Nyagah who resigned as President Uhuru Kenyatta’s adviser to run for a political seat as an independent candidate early this year said that by voting yesterday, Kenyans only addressed a legal solution but not a political solution.
He was appointed Minister for Cooperative Development by Raila Odinga and Mwai Kibaki during the Grand Coalition Government.
Mr. Nyagah said he chose to vote since his name was added on the ballot paper, although late. With the given short time, the aspirant said he could not campaign.
